This is a highly efficient ceramic sub micron filter suitable to remove unwanted contaminants from any water supply. The Doulton Ultracarb ceramic is certified by internationally recognized institutions that provide quality assurance on safe and pure drinking water.
The Doulton Super Sterasyl® ceramic and GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) water filter cartridge is ideal for rain/tank water use or low water pressure area.
It is a highly efficient ceramic microfilter which provides genuine sub micron filtration to your drinking water.
The Doulton Super Sterasyl is a two stage cartridge combining the highly efficient filtration properties of ceramic with the enhanced water treatment properties of activated carbon. It carries a filtration efficiency of 99.99% at 0.9 micron absolute and 99.9% efficiency at 0.2 micron nominal.
We recommend replacing this cartridge every 12-24 months dependent on water quality and usage. Suits all (standard) 10” housings.
This stage reduces fine particulate matter, bacteria, cysts and turbidity. The incorporation of silver locked within the ceramic structure gives enhanced bacteriostatic and self sterilising properties.
An inner core of activated carbon block removes chlorine and organic compounds.
The Doulton Sterasyl cartridge is available in 3 sizes:
Slimline 2” x 9 ¾”
Imperial 2 ¾” x 9 ¾”*
Sovereign 4 ½” x 9 ¾”*
*The Imperial and Sovereign cartridges can be supplied with an additional adaptor cartridge in order that they may fit appropriately within 20” (whole house/high flow) housings/filter systems.
